Recreation
Pre-Team
The recreational classes start at 4 years old and range up to 12 years old. The classes are 1 hour once or twice a week. Our recreational classes are divided by age as well as skill level such as beginner, intermediate and advanced. This is the starts of your child's gymnastics skill growth as our coaches are trained to develop certain skills for each event in these classes that will be built on as they move up
The pre-team is the next skill level after recreational. Your child will be invited up to pre-team once they have reached certain skill milestones for all four competitive events. The pre-team classes are 2 hours and there is the option to attend once, twice or three times a week. In the pre-team class your child will be progressing their skill level and learning routines for all four events. There are two pre-team meets a year where your child will showcase the routines they have learned and earn medals for the scores at these meets. It gives them a look into what competitive team is like
Competitive Team
Private Lessons
Private lessons are available to any age and class level. We also offer private lessons and private tumbling. Inquire with Miss Lisa for Pricing. These lessons are set up on a week to week basis and are usually scheduled for Friday evenings or Saturday mornings with one of our Team coaches. This is an excellent way to get additional work on specific skills or events. It is also a good option for someone who is unable to attend a regular class each week due to their schedule
The competitive team here at Traditional Gymnastics participates in Xcel, AAU, level 4 and 5 Compulsory and Optional level gymnastics. Once your child has achieved skill milestones for each of the four events in pre-team, they will be invited to the competitive team and start with the Xcel program. Team is a 3 or 4 hour class each night. Your child can attend 6-9 hours per week and will be determined by level. Our team attends USAG sanctioned meets throughout the competition season.
